Be The Rainbow is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating love, self-affirmation, dignity, and equality while increasing visibility for the LGBTQ+ community. Founded by friends committed to making Port Washington a more inclusive place, we have grown into the leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in our area.
Through community events, education, and support initiatives, we create spaces where everyone—regardless of identity—feels seen, valued, and celebrated. Our annual Pride Walk & Festival, outreach programs, and partnerships help foster a more inclusive, welcoming future for all.
